Kanye West rants, cancels rest of tour; DeMarcus Cousins comments

It may not be such a merry Christmas for Kanye West fans in the Bluegrass State, or anywhere else the Saint Pablo tour was expected to stop in the next month.

After a tumultuous weekend, the remaining dates on the elaborate tour have been canceled, including West’s Dec. 20 date at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville. According to a LiveNation statement, refunds will be made at the point of purchase.

The move comes after a complex weekend for the musician, who abruptly ended a concert in Sacramento, California, on Saturday, then canceled a performance Sunday in the Los Angeles area. During the week prior, he drew the ire of fans at and San Jose show saying he did not vote in the presidential election, but that if he had, he would have voted for President-elect Donald Trump.

Saturday's truncated show became a hot topic on social platforms, as amateur videos circulated of a 10-minute tirade by West about Beyonce, Jay Z, Hillary Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg, the radio and MTV.

Among those commenting on social media was former University of Kentucky men’s basketball standout DeMarcus Cousins, now with the Sacramento Kings, whose video commentary has been widely shared.
