Backstreet Boys coming to Kentucky. Tickets go on sale Wednesday.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday for a Backstreet Boys concert next year in Louisville.
The boy band that includes Kentuckians Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson will appear Friday, September 13, at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, according to that venue’s website.
Tickets are $120 to $170 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday at kfcyumcenter.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. In spring 2019, the group will begin the DNA World Tour — their biggest arena tour in 18 years — a statement on the website said. Every ticket purchased to the North American headlining tour will include one physical copy of the group’s 10th studio album, “DNA.”
“When this group started 26 years ago – and through all the highs and lows of our career – we’ve had to learn it wasn’t about us as individuals but about what’s best for the group,” Howie D. said in the statement.
“That’s what I love about this album,” Richardson said in the statement.“ We were able to bring all of our influences and styles into one coherent piece of work. These songs are a great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group. It’s our DNA. We’re really proud of that.”
“The journey is ongoing with us and there is so much left to do,” Littrell said. “We’re living the next chapter that hasn’t been told yet, and that’s exciting.”
