As long as you love them, the Backstreet Boys keep coming back. Rupp concert planned.

The Backstreet Boys announced Monday that they will play Rupp Arena on July 27.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale Feb. 14 at LiveNation.com, the Central Bank Center ticket office at 859-233-3535 or Ticketmaster.

After the success of last summer’s sold-out North American tour, the Backstreet Boys announced a second version, which will start in New York in July.

The success of the tour grew out of the band’s latest album, “DNA,” released last year.

“We give our fans 100 percent, night after night, putting on the best Backstreet Boys show we can. We play our hits, we dance our asses off and we do it because we love our fans,” said AJ McLean, in the news release. “We have the best fans in the world. They come out to party and they sing at the top of their lungs and we feed off that energy. We can’t wait to take this show on the road again this summer.”

Two of the Backstreet Boys — Kentucky natives Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson — were inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame in 2015.

“There’s no place like home,” Richardson said at the time. “I love Kentucky.” Richardson’s favorite things about his hometown of Irvine: momma and the Wildcats.

Littrell, who grew up in Lexington, said he has a section of the original Rupp Arena floor in his home.
