‘Abominable’
Movie Tavern by Marcus Theatres will present the 2019 fantasy film “Abominable” as part of its Kids Dream Winter Film Series, which continues through April 5. Everything is Science Lex

Songwriter Showcase & Dinner
Prior to Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson taking the stage at Rupp Arena on Feb. 28, Tyler Childers Fans — the official Facebook fan group for the Lawrence County artist — will host a songwriters showcase and dinner at The Burl at 5 p.m. featuring music from Abby Hamilton, Eric Bolander, Nic Allen and Jen Tackett. Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers

‘Sweet Evening Breeze’
“Sweet Evening Breeze,” a tribute to the legendary Lexington drag queen written by Larry Muhammad and presented by Pandora Productions and Kentucky Black Rep, will be performed from Feb. 27-29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Henry Clay Theatre in Louisville.
