Louisville’s Forecastle Festival canceled; How to get ticket refunds

Louisville’s Forecastle Festival, which was scheduled to begin July 17, has been canceled as the outbreak of COVID-19 continues.

“While we are disappointed to share this news, the health and safety of our fans, artists, staff and community are always our number one priority,” organizers said in the announcement Thursday.

This year’s performers would have included Cage the Elephant, Grace Potter, Jack Johnson, The 1975 and others.

“Tickets will be automatically refunded at point of purchase and purchasers will receive an email with details on timing and processing,” according to the announcement. “Stay safe, stay connected, and we’ll see you soon.”

The festival is set to return in 2021, according to the announcement.
