Tyler Childers coming to Kroger Field with two special Kentucky guests
Grammy-nominated Kentucky singer-songwriter Tyler Childers is returning to Lexington.
Childers on Thursday announced a new headline tour for 2025, and it includes a Kroger Field concert on April 19.
He’ll have two special guests in Lexington, too: Wynonna Judd and S.G. Goodman.
Tickets for the concert and the tour will go on sale 10 a.m. Nov. 22, but presale begins 10 a.m. Nov. 19. Presale registration is open now through Nov. 17 at tylerchildersmusic.com.
One dollar from every ticket sold for the 27-stop tour will benefit the non-profits Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, founded in 2020 by Childers and his wife, Senora May, to support philanthropic efforts in the region, and REVERB, which works to reduce the environmental impact of live music and tours.
This will be the second major concert at the University of Kentucky venue. Chris Stapleton played a sold-out Kroger Field in 2022.
According to a news release announcing the tour, “Childers wants to give fans the best chance to buy tickets at face value. To make this possible, those who purchase tickets on Ticketmaster and can’t attend will have the option to resell their tickets at the original price paid using the Face Value Exchange.
“To protect the Exchange, Childers has requested that all shows ticketed by Ticketmaster, except those in New York and Virginia where Face Value Exchange can’t be mandated, use tickets that are mobile-only and restricted from transfer. For AXS-ticketed events, fans will be able to resell their tickets for face value plus fees through AXS Official Resale Marketplace.”
