As Rupp Arena emerges from its renovation, concert announcements can resume. Friday morning, the Arena and LiveNation announced Dierks Bentley will bring his “Somewhere on a Beach” tour to Rupp at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 with opener Drake White & The Big Fire.

Bentley is one of the hottest names in country right now with his chart-topping album, “Black.” The latest single is “Different for Girls,” a duet with Elle King, though Bluegrass State fans are probably still partial to his 2013 hit, “Bourbon in Kentucky.”

Tickets are $54.75 and will go on sale for the show at 10 a.m. July 29 at the Lexington Center Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling 859-233-3535 or visiting Livenation.com.
