Battle of Perryville Commemoration
Re-enactors will commemorate the Civil War battle with authentic encampments, period music and living history programs on Saturday and Sunday at the Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site, 1825 Battlefield Road, Perryville. UK Writers 100 Proof

Night Market
The monthly open-air festival is from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Bryan Avenue. This month’s event takes on a Harry Potter theme, featuring a Marauder’s Map with visitors collecting stamps at each booth to be eligible for a grand prize drawing. Admission is free. Nolicdc.org.
‘Weep No More’
Victorian mourning customs, such as door entries draped in black swag and clocks stopped at the time of death, will be explored through Oct. 31 at My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown. ‘The Addams Family’
Wednesday Addams is all grown up with a “normal” boyfriend in this musical comedy. When Morticia and Gomez host a dinner for his family, it’s a stormy night.
