Chinese New Year Celebration
Celebrate the year of the dog Saturday at the Lexington Opera House starting at 4 p.m. with a holiday market featuring festival foods, crafts, and traditional costumes presented by the Kentucky Chinese American Association. One World Film Festival
The festival opens with a free screening of “Life, Animated” at 2 p.m. Sunday at the UK Chandler Hospital Pavilion A Auditorium, 1000 South Limestone. The documentary by Academy Award-winning director Roger Ross Williams is the story of Owen Suskind who was unable to speak as a child until watching Disney films helped him to reconnect to the world. The festival continues at the Kentucky Theatre with free showings of movies through March 10. Lexfilm.org.
Lexington Chamber Orchestra: ‘Four Seasons’
You’ll have two chances to hear the Chamber Orchestra’s performances that include Astor Piazzolla’s ‘Four Seasons’ featuring Kyung Sun Lee on violin. The first concert is 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Tates Creek Presbyterian Church. On Sunday the performance is at 3 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre. ‘Enchanted April’
A group of women clash, and then bond, when they rent an Italian villa in the Woodford Theatre’s production based on Elizabeth von Arnim’s 1922 novel. Shows are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 2 p.m. Sundays through Feb. 18, with a special 7:30 p.m. show on Thursday, Feb. 15 at the Woodford Theatre, 273 Beasley Road in Versailles. The New Beckham County Ramblers

‘1964: The Tribute’
