Live Music Guide: Slainte Public House hosts a day of music on Sunday
Slainte Public House, the Irish Pub in Georgetown, isn’t messing around when it comes to celebrating its two-year anniversary. On Sunday there will be music all day, from 4 to 11 p.m. Performers will include Luna and the Mountain Jets, Liam’s Fancy, Trippin’ Roots, and Brother Smith.
▪ For a night of live music with a view, take a scenic drive out Old Frankfort Pike and head to Wallace Station for a night of bluegrass by Sam Gleaves starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The restaurant from award-winning chef Ouita Michel serves some of the best locally-sourced food around. So order a country ham and pimiento cheese sandwich and a beer, head to the deck, and enjoy the show.
