Kentucky holiday calendar: Nutcrackers, Messiahs, Charlie Brown and Cirque

What does it take to kick off the holiday season? For some people, it could be a classic Christmas theatre production, the sounds of a choir singing carols or an iconic Russian ballet synonymous with the season. For other people, all it takes is a train ride, a tree lighting or throwing on a pair of ice skates and hitting the rink.

You will find these options and a whole lot more happenings by checking out our holiday calendar.
