Here is a Lexington list and guide of the best weekend events around Central Kentucky on Friday, Saturday and Sunday if you are bored and need things to do from live music concerts, comedy shows, wrestling at the Lexington Ice Center, theatre plays by Studio Players and the Broadway Live Series at the Lexington Opera House and artists and craftspeople selling their work at Kentucky Crafted.

New South Wrestling at the Lexington Ice Center

Former WWE stars and current AEW stars will hit the ring as New South Wrestling comes to the Lexington Ice Center, 560 Eureka Springs Dr., March 11. Doors open at 5 p.m., bell time at 7. Wrestlers included in tag team, Kentucky Heavyweight Championship and the New South Heavyweight Championship for men and women include Billy Gunn, Gunn Club, Chelsea Green, Rikishi anbd more. Crafts on Tap: Couple’s Wheel Throwing at the Living Arts & Science Center

The Living Arts & Science Center, 362 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., will host a Crafts on Tap: Couple’s Wheel Throwing class March 11 at 6:30. As seen in the popular scene from the movie “Ghost,” wheel throwing is forming clay into shapes on the pottery wheel. Jazz, brass music celebration

Local and regional artists will join other performers from around the country for two shows at Centenary United Methodist Church, 2800 Tates Creek Rd., for “Brass Madness: A Musical Celebration of Vince Dimartino.” The two free concerts of jazz and brass music celebrating trumpeter Vince DiMartino will be 7 p.m. March 11, 13. lexchurch.com

‘An American In Paris’ at the Lexington Opera House

The musical “An American In Paris” will be performed five times between March 11 and 13 as part of the Broadway Live Series at the Lexington Opera House. The play, inspired by the iconic 1951 movie of the same name, tells the story of Jerry Mulligan, an American World War II veteran who settles down in Paris to work as a painter, eventually falling for a local shop girl who has many suitors. Show times are March 11 at 7:30 p.m., March 12 at 1 and 7:30 p.m., and March 13 at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets start at $60. 401 W Short St. LexingtonOperaHouse.com.

Kentucky Crafted Market at Alltech Arena
