Here is a Lexington list and guide of the best Memorial Day weekend events around Central Kentucky on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday if you are bored and need things to do from live music concerts, comedy shows, bike rides, 5K races, music festivals, musicals, theater plays and remembrance ceremonies for the Memorial Day holiday.

Horsey Hundred bike ride around Georgetown

The Horsey Hundred, the signature event of the Bluegrass Cycling Club, will hold its 44th annual gathering from May 27-29 in and around Georgetown. Throughout the weekend, riders will be able to explore routes ranging from 25-75 miles through the campus of Georgetown College, the city’s downtown and surrounding countryside. Also included will be live entertainment, a bike expo, food trucks, and more. Tickets to ride are $100-125. 400 E College St., Georgetown. HorseyHundred.com.

Downtown Morehead Roots music festival

Downtown Morehead Inc. will present a weekend of roots music with the likes of Kelsey Waldon, Mike & The Moonpies, Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle, Grayson Jenkins, Nicholas Jamerson and others on May 27 and 28 from 5 p.m.-12:30 a.m. each day in the city’s entertainment district. Comedian Donnie Baker at Comedy Off Broadway

Donnie Baker, a regular on the nationally syndicated radio program “The Bob & Tom Show,” will perform at Comedy Off Broadway five times between May 27 and 29. Musical comedy: ‘Guys & Dolls’ at the Woodford Theatre

The Woodford Theatre in Versailles will present the musical comedy “Guys & Dolls” from May 27-29, June 3-5 and June 9-12. This weekend’s show times are on May 27 and 28 at 8 p.m. and May 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15-22. 275 Beasley Dr., Versailles. WoodfordTheatre.com.

The Weeks and Transistor concert at The Burl

SuperHEARo 5K at White Hall State Historic Site

Runners will be encouraged to dress themselves and their furry friends up in their favorite superhero garb during the 5th annual SuperHEARo 5K at the at White Hall State Historic Site in Richmond on May 28 at 8:30 a.m. Awards will be given for top overall male and female finishers in the 5K as well as best dressed male and female superheroes and best dressed wonder pet. Memorial weekend festival at Eckert’s Orchard

Celebrate the holiday at Eckert’s Orchard in Versailles during its Memorial weekend festival happening from May 28-30 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. Activities include children’s playground, petting farm, whizzer, push pedal carts, wagon train, festival foods, strawberry picking (for an additional cost) and more. Chamber Music Festival of the Bluegrass at Shaker Village

The 14th annual Chamber Music Festival of the Bluegrass will return to the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Harrodsburg from May 27-29 with performances from the world-renowned musicians of New York’s Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at Kentucky National Guard Memorial

There will be a Memorial Day ceremony May 30 at 10 a.m. at the Boone National Guard Center, 100 Minuteman Parkway in Frankfort. The free remembrance will include an artillery Battery Salute and C-130 flyover. After the hour-long ceremony, the Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. Haldane B.
