The free concert featuring David Kim, concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, will include Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 77, and Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations, Op. 36. It’s at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Singletary Center, 405 Rose Street.

Fourth Friday: Curator Conversation with Julien Robson

The evening of art, music and food is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Loudoun House, 209 Castlewood Drive, Lexington. Julien Robson, former curator of contemporary art at The Speed Museum in Louisville, will discuss the exhibit Artist: Body. WRFL Birthday Show

Celebrate another year for WRFL, the University of Kentucky’s student-run radio station, at 7 p.m. Saturday at ArtsPlace, 161 North Mill Street. The lineup includes Faust, Peaking Lights, Noveller, Jovontaes and Attempt. For ages 18 and older. Tickets are $5 at CD Central or
