Best Bets: ‘Addams Family,’ WRFL Night of Punk, Tommy Davidson, Independent Bookstore Day
‘Addams Family’
Lexington Catholic High School presents the musical comedy featuring Morticia, Gomez, Fester and the gang. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, at the school at 2250 Clays Mill Road. Admission is $5 at the door.
WRFL’s Night of Punk
Chicago punks Negative Scanner and Dumpster Babies with Lexington’s own Frustrate will perform at a free concert on Sunday at Big Hair Records Headquarters at 79 Southport Drive. Doors open at 7 p.m.; show time is 8 p.m. For more info, go to Wrfl.fm.
Tommy Davidson
The comedian and actor, part of the original cast of In Living Color, will perform at Comedy Off Broadway at The Mall at Lexington Green. Show times are 7:15 and 9:45 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $15 to $23. Call 859-271-5653 or go to Comedyoffbroadway.com.
Independent Bookstore Day
Drop by your local bookstore on Saturday and celebrate the day. Many will host special events, including The Morris Book Shop at 882 East High Street.
