St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Country Fair

Head to the fair for carnival rides and games, a petting zoo, food, music, a casino and more. Hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 2 to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at 1730 Summerhill Drive, Lexington. Admission is $1 Thursday through Saturday, free on Sunday. 859-273-1318. Swingin’ on Short Street

Lace up your dancing shoes for a free evening of fun 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Courthouse Plaza, 120 North Limestone Street, Lexington. Free Friday Flicks: ‘Inside Out’

Bring a blanket and a picnic for a free movie screening Friday at Jacobson Park, 4001 Athens-Boonesboro Road, Lexington. This week’s animated comedy stars Amy Poehler and Bill Hader. Bowie Bike Prom

Young dudes and gals are invited to dress as a favorite David Bowie persona and get their dance card punched by biking to downtown businesses.
