Ballet Under the Stars
The summer outdoor tradition returns with performances through Sunday at Woodland Park, 601 East High Street. The evening begins with a pre-show youth production of “Tinkerbell and the Pirates” at 8 p.m. The main show, featuring dancers from Kentucky Ballet Theatre, is at 9 p.m. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Shaker Village Craft Fair
More than 80 vendor booths will feature Shaker reproductions, clay, metal, glass and other merchandise. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, 3501 Lexington Road, Harrodsburg. $10, $5 ages 6-12, free for ages 5 and younger includes admission to Shaker Village. 859-734-5411. Night Market
The pop-up street festival features local artists, businesses, and food and drink vendors. It’s from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday along the 700 block of Bryan Avenue. Admission is free. Nolicdc.org/events.
Fountain Films on Friday: ‘The Bad News Bears’
Walter Matthau and Tatum O’Neal star in the 1976 comedy about a scrappy Little League team fighting its way to the championship game. The free outdoor screening starts at 9 p.m. Friday at Triangle Park, 400 West Main Street. Downtownlex.com.
