Lexington theater offers $1 ticket promo this summer. Here’s what movies you can see
For families looking for an affordable activity to beat the heat, Regal Cinemas is playing select family movies for only $1 Tuesday and Wednesday mornings throughout the summer.
“Summer is here, school is out, and this is your chance to spend some extra time with your kids,” Regal Cinema’s website states.
Other local free and low-cost summer movie events have been offered at the Lexington Public Library and the Theatres of Georgetown throughout the summer.
Here’s what to know about the “Regal Summer Movie Express” and what flicks you could catch for just a dollar.
Regal Hamburg Pavillion: 1949 Star Shoot Parkway, Lexington
July 9 and 10: “Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie” and “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”
July 16 and 17: “Clifford the Big Red Dog” and “Sonic the Hedgehog”
July 23 and 24: “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” and “Trolls Band Together”
July 30 and 31: “Kung Fu Panda 3” and “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile”
Aug. 6 and 7: “Minions: The Rise of Gru” and “Sing 2”
Each showtime is 11 a.m.
A $5 “Snack Pack” is available to moviegoers and includes a junior-sized drink, snack-sized popcorn and fruit snacks. An optional $3 Dippin’ Dots add-on is also offered.
