Lexington man injured by intruders, police say
A Lexington man was taken to the hospital Tuesday after two men attacked him at his home at 3965 Ridgepoint Run.
David Michael Norris, 72, had a head injury, but it wasn't clear whether it's a gunshot wound, Lexington police spokesman Lt. Ron Compton said.
The two men forced their way into Norris' home shortly after 9 a.m., apparently by posing as utility workers, Compton said.
Compton said police did not know where the intruders went.
Norris was treated at the University of Kentucky Hospital and released.
