State police investigating Scott death

Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a Scott County woman whose body was Thursday morning in her home, officials said.

Glenda Sue Jones, 68, was found about 10 a.m. at the house on Double Culvert Road in Sadieville, Scott County Coroner John Goble said.

Jones' cause of death has not been released. Goble said her death is being investigated as a possible homicide.

An autopsy was scheduled for Friday morning at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort, Goble said.
