Want a flight of Pappy? Here is how you can win 5 bourbon bottles and support UK opera

Listen up, bourbon fans and opera fans: How would you like a chance at a flight of Pappy Van Winkle bourbons?

OperaLex, which supports the University of Kentucky’s opera theatre program, is again offering a raffle with a chance to win five bottles of Pappy, donated by Liquor Barn.

The raffle runs now runs through Oct. 26 and tickets are $100 each. Only 1,200 tickets will be sold. Go online at OperaLex.org to enter.

Winner gets a flight of bottles: Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year, Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 Year, Pappy Van Winkle 15 Year, Pappy Van Winkle 20 Year and Pappy Van Winkle 23 Year.

Must be 21 or older to enter the drawing; sales close at 5 p.m. Oct. 26. Winning ticket will be drawn Oct. 28.

OperaLex, formerly the Lexington Opera Society, is a private not-for-profit organization that supports and promotes opera in the Bluegrass. OperaLex provides assistance to Everett McCorvey and UK Opera’s productions to help educate the next generation of performers and educators.
