Win a sip of Kentucky Derby and Woodford Reserve history in charity bourbon raffle
Want a shot at a piece of Kentucky Derby (and bourbon) history?
CASA of Lexington is raffling off an ultra rare Woodford Reserve Baccarat version of the Kentucky Derby 150 bottle, along with a halter worn by winner Mystik Dan.
The bottle is one of only 150 produced by the Kentucky distillery and was priced at $15,000. One bottle was presented to Mystik Dan’s owners in the Churchill Downs winners circle last May after a thrilling three-way photo finish.
The charity raffle, held in partnership with Elizabethtown-based nonprofit Give 270 and its BourbonRaffles.org platform, will support CASA of Lexington’s mission to provide advocacy for abused and neglected children in seven central Kentucky counties: Bourbon, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Scott and Woodford.
“Every ticket purchased for this raffle helps ensure that abused and neglected children in our region have the support and care they deserve,” said Melynda Jamison, CASA of Lexington executive director, in a news release. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact this raffle will have on these children’s lives.”
Besides the grand prize, other raffle prizes include:
- A Four Roses 20-year Visitor Center OBSV Private Barrel
- Limited edition green, blue and red bottles of Blanton’s La Maison du Paris
- A 2021 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon
- A Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot “B” 12-year
- An Old Rip Van Winkle 10-year
- And two 2024 bottles of Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged.
Tickets are $100; only 1,000 are available. To purchase tickets, go to bourbonraffles.org. The raffle will take place live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on April 30 at 8 p.m.
