You might call me a Costco superfan, but when it comes to the Costco food court, I might actually be the queen. Having the café right inside the warehouse truly makes a family outing complete. At least once a month, my family of four gets out early on a Saturday, makes our way through all the samples, grabs the food, drinks and bulk items we didn't even know we needed and then, we hit the food court.

It's our reward at the end of the trip. Stocked with all the kid and adult favorites: hot dogs, pizza, and drinks all around. By the time we get home, it's basically nap time, no need to worry about lunch. It's the ultimate family weekend hang-slash-errand run.

If you've spent any time scrolling lately, you already know the Costco food court has become a full-blown internet obsession. Hacks are everywhere and some are genius. I never would have thought to wrap a hot dog in a slice of pizza, but now I'm forever grateful someone on the internet did.

I hit the point where my saved folder was overflowing with Costco food court hacks, so I decided it was time to grab the goods and try them myself. Here's my honest review of six of the most viral Costco food court hacks, four I loved and two I wouldn't order again.

What Is Costco's Food Court Known For?

Costco's food court is known for delivering incredible value, consistently good quality and quick, easy meals that appeal to both kids and adults. Where else can you get a hot dog and soda combo for $1.50?

Lately, it's also become a hub for viral food trends. From rotating sundaes and desserts to secret menu-style mashups, there's almost always something new (or newly trending) to try, which makes every visit feel a little different and exciting.

4 Best Costco Food Court Hacks

Forbidden Glizzy (Hot Dog in a Chicken Bake)

This one absolutely lives up to the hype. Sliding a hot dog into the warm, doughy chicken bake creates the ultimate over-the-top handheld meal. It's savory, indulgent and surprisingly balanced thanks to the creamy filling inside the bake. Messy? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.

Forbidden Glizzy + Pepperoni Pizza Cheese on Top

This was just a leveled up Forbidden Glizzy, so what wasn't going to be great?! I'm not sure anything didn't get better from adding cheese and pepperoni! It's crunchy, cheesy, salty and completely chaotic in the best way. This is peak Costco creativity and honestly tastes like something you'd get at a stadium.

Costco Kimchi

I've covered this one before, and it still holds up. Adding kimchi (or a kimchi-style topping hack) to a hot dog brings acidity, crunch and a totally new flavor profile. It cuts through the richness and makes the whole thing feel a little more elevated than your $1.50 dog.

Coke Float

With Costco switching to Coke products, the Coke float is having a moment...and it's such a simple win. The creamy vanilla soft serve melts into the soda for a nostalgic, fizzy dessert that's refreshing and fun. It's not complicated, but it hits every time.

2 Costco Food Court Hacks To Skip

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwich

In theory, this should be amazing. In reality, it's just too much. The cookies are huge, rich, and quite dense, so adding ice cream makes it overwhelming and hard to eat. It also melts quickly, turning into a sticky mess before you can really enjoy it. It was fun to try but I wouldn't do it again.

Pizza Hot Dog

This is the original viral combo, but for me, it didn't quite work. The proportions feel off, its hard to eat, and it ends up being more bread than anything else. It's heavy, a little awkward to eat and doesn't deliver enough payoff compared to some of the better hacks.

Final Thoughts

Costco's food court is already iconic, but these hacks take it to a whole new level, some in the best way, and some…not so much. The winning hacks all had one thing in common: they added flavor, texture or balance without making things overly complicated.

If you're heading to Costco this weekend, I'd absolutely try at least one of the top four. Just maybe skip the cookie sandwich unless you're ready for a serious sugar overload.

And honestly? Half the fun is trying these for yourself because if there's one thing the internet got right, it's that Costco food court creativity is undefeated.
