Subway's Free Poppi Day Is Almost Here-but Not for Long
Subway's drink menu is getting two all-new "better-for-you" options.
One week after debuting the first value-oriented menu in its 60-year history, the international deli chain announced a new partnership with poppi that brings two of the prebiotic soda company's most popular flavors directly to Subway locations nationwide.
"Subway has proven you can make great-tasting food with real ingredients, and poppi has done the same for soda," Dave Skena, chief marketing officer at Subway North America, shared in a statement, joking, "Come taste what two better-for-you originals can do together."

Beginning today (Wednesday, May 6), guests can enjoy two of the sparkling beverage brand's best-selling flavors with their Subway footlong: Strawberry Lemon and Orange. Both flavors contain just 5 grams of sugar and prebiotics.

"At poppi, we love making better-for-you choices more accessible and more fun, and there's no better partner for that than Subway," Jenny Danzi, vice president of marketing at poppi, added. "Launching with Subway allows us to meet consumers in a highly frequented, everyday setting and introduce more people to our delicious, modern take on soda."
To celebrate the partnership (and maybe convince the nonbelievers to try poppi), Subway is offering Sub Club loyalty members a free can of poppi with the purchase of any footlong or six-inch sandwich, while supplies last on Thursday, May 7. Rewards members can redeem the offer at their local Subway or directly through the revamped Subway app at checkout, no promo code needed.
