That night, hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine, there will be a dance performances by Lakshmi Sriraman of Shree School of Dance, and a viewing of Julie Wayne’s documentary “From Earth to Earth.”
Guests will be invited to learn Indian-style dance routines, paint a ceremonial terracotta horse, and visit with the park’s resident Marwari horses, which hail from India.
The event is $10 in advance or $12 at the door; free for kids 12 and under. To order tickets, go to kyhorsepark.com under events, or call 859-259-4213.
Future events will celebrate Belgium (June 1); Japan (Aug. 31); and Mexico (Nov. 2.) Details will be posted closer to each event at kyhorsepark.com.
