Want free Chick-fil-A for a year, Somerset? Here’s what to do.
The Somerset Chick-fil-A is opening this week, and there will be freebies for the first 100 customers who camp out overnight.
The restaurant will open at 6 a.m. Jan. 16 at 2400 South Highway 27, and those who participate in the 12-hour First 100 Campout could win a free year’s supply of Chick-fil-A meals (which means one a week for 52 weeks, in case you’re wondering.)
To enter, you must be 18 or older, with a U.S. government-issued ID; the giveaway is limited to local residents, so check to see if your official ID zip code is eligible.
And there are lots of rules (you have to stay the whole 12 hours, etc.) Participants can gather as early as 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 15. Registration will begin at 6 p.m.
But, according to the news release, “upwards of 100 adults will win a digital offer card” to get a chicken sandwich, medium waffle fries and medium drink free once a week for a year.
The new Chick-fil-A will be Somerset’s first. The almost 5,000-square-foot restaurant will have a double drive-through for ordering that merges into a single lane for pickup and can handle more than 200 cars an hour. Inside, the restaurant will seat 109 and will have a two-story indoor playground, free Wi-Fi and an 11-seat patio.
The menu will include breakfast until 10:30 a.m., and then switch to the famous original boneless breast-of-chicken sandwich and waffle fries, among other items.
For a limited time, the menu will also include Chicken Tortilla Soup, with shredded breast of chicken, three bean varieties, vegetables, spices and seasoned tortilla strips. The menu also will include the new Chick-fil-A Mac & Cheese, baked daily with cheddar, Parmesan and Romano cheese.
The Somerset Chick-fil-A will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and like all Chick-fil-A’s, it will be closed on Sunday.
