Podcast: What to expect as Kentucky restaurants reopen

After two long months, Kentucky restaurants can reopen for dine-in or outdoor seating on Friday.

There are restrictions and guidelines, however. Restaurants can only seat up to 33 percent capacity. All employees must wear masks and gloves. Customers can be turned away for not wearing masks. Customers must practice social distancing. Some will be separated by partitions.

To help navigate the ins and outs and give an idea of what to expect this weekend, Herald-Leader sports columnist John Clay talked with Kentucky.com food writer Janet Patton, who led the way in putting together a dining guide for the next step in the state’s reopening.
