New survey: Which drive-thru is the slowest? Which is the fastest?
In the age of COVID, restaurant drive-thrus have become more important than ever for customers.
Now, a new study of fast-food chains found that Chick-fil-A, which routinely gets high marks from customers, is among the slowest.

By comparison, KFC’s drive-thru averaged 283.3 seconds. That’s under 5 minutes, the fastest of the 10 restaurants released in the study.
The top 10, in order from longest wait to shortest: Chick-fil-A, 488.8 seconds; Arby’s, 394.2; Wendy’s, 358.7; Dunkin’, 351.7; McDonald’s, 349.3; Burger King, 344.3; Carl’s Jr., 341.6; Hardee’s, 321.6; Taco Bell, 310.2; and KFC, 283.3.
