Fast-growing Asian Fusion restaurant chain opening first Lexington location

What’s growing faster than Wingstop and Popeye’s and coming to Lexington? Teriyaki Madness.

The Denver-based Asian Fusion fast-casual chain, named the fastest-growing chain in the country by Restaurant Business in 2021, is set to open its first Kentucky location in Lexington.

Teriyaki Madness will be coming to 1925 Justice Dr., next to Graeter’s Ice Cream and near Wild Eggs. It will be near Double Dogs and El Mariachi, and not far from Drake’s and Malone’s.

Franchisee Kush Patel said he wanted to bring this restaurant to Lexington as his first restaurant here. He’s also planning to open another location in Union.

“It’s Japanese food made on a wok,” Patel said. “Fast casual, often taken to go but you also can dine in.” There also may be patio seating outside.

Teriyaki Madness will open in the spring of 2025, he said. Catering options also will be available.
