Longtime Bardstown restaurant known for home cooking closes unexpectedly
A longtime Bardstown restaurant known for its home cooking is closing.
Stephen Foster Restaurant announced in a Facebook post Friday morning that it will close permanently “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
By Saturday morning, more than 500 people had commented on the post, expressing sadness for the loss of a favorite eatery.
The buffet-style restaurant has been in business more than 40 years, according to its website.
People who need a refund on a gift card can mail the card, along with a name, return address and phone number, to 503 W Stephen Foster Ave., Bardstown, KY, 40004.
“We are grateful to have crossed paths with you and hope to see you around,” the restaurant said in its post.
