Lexington’s north side has lost one of its brunch spots, less than two years after it opened.

Biscuit Belly in Masterson Station has closed.

The restaurant, off Leestown Road at 112 Lucille Drive #150, opened in December 2023.

The voicemail at the restaurant directs customers to Lexington’s other Biscuit Belly at 652 E. Main St. That location, Lexington’s first Biscuit Belly, opened in 2022 in the spot formerly occupied by A&W.

Biscuit Belly is a Louisville-based chain that serves biscuit sandwiches, biscuits and gravy and other breakfast and lunch offerings.

The company’s website lists locations in southern states including Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, with more planned as the company seeks to grow through franchising.
