Lexington restaurant news: Fast-growing pizza chain building a Hamburg location

A fast-growing, regional pizza chain has found its newest Kentucky location.

PARLOUR Pizza + Pints plans to open a new spot in Lexington’s Hamburg shopping and dining neighborhood in August or September of this year.

The Indiana-based chain is constructing a new building at 1997 Justice Drive, suite 130, next door to the new Chicken Salad Chick and Nothing Bundt Cakes, near Malone’s and Wild Egg’s.

The restaurant, known for its hand-crafted pizza and calzones, grinders, wings and craft beer, opened a new Central Kentucky location April 9 in Richmond. After opening its first Lexington restaurant on Harrodsburg Road in 2024, PARLOUR planned to open a second Lexington location first, but construction delays meant the Richmond spot opened before Hamburg.

Jason A. Wade, VP, Strategic Operations at Neace Ventures, which owns PARLOUR, said they can’t wait to open their pizza restaurant in Hamburg.

“Hamburg has long been a priority market for us and was one of our earliest target locations in Lexington,” said Wade. “We would have loved to open sooner, but extended timelines are common with new ground-up developments.”

What to know about the new PARLOUR location

The new Hamburg location will be slightly smaller than the Harrodsburg Road spot, 5,500 sq. feet vs. 7,103. That location was remodeled after Lexington’s last O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar closed.

“Hamburg will have its own identity and energy,” Wade said. “While slightly smaller in footprint, we’re excited to be positioned alongside outstanding casual dining brands in one of Lexington’s strongest retail and dining corridors. Hamburg is a true regional destination for dining, shopping, and entertainment.”

Wade said the new Lexington restaurant will be similar to its seven other locations, which include Southern Indiana and Louisville. Glass garage doors to bring in natural light and fresh air will be a highlight of the new place he said.

Recently named a pizza brand to watch

Founded in 2017, PARLOUR was recently named as one of the pizza brands to watch in 2026 by Pizza Marketplace. They also joined the concessions area at the Lynn Family Stadium, Louisville’s soccer stadium.

“We absolutely believe there is continued opportunity in Central Kentucky,” Wade said. “As always, expansion comes down to finding the right real estate, in the right trade area, at the right time. If there’s an opportunity to bring PARLOUR Pizza + Pints to a new community and become a strong local partner, we’ll always take a serious look at it.
