And a first-ever standalone Harry’s American Bar & Grill will be opening in Richmond this fall too, according to a social media post. It’s the first time BHG has ventured into the Central Kentucky city.

Harry’s, which is a concept built around approachability, has usually been paired with Malone’s locations. This location will have an elevated bar program and a curated menu, according to the news release.

“This location represents not only the evolution of the Harry’s brand, but also the excitement surrounding the continued development of Richmond,” said Bruce Drake, co-founder of BHG in the release.

Meanwhile, a new Malone’s Prime Beef Steakhouse is coming to Crestview Hills in Northern Kentucky late in 2026.

“These projects are exciting because each one represents growth in a meaningful way for our brands,” said Brian McCarty, co-founder of BHG, in the release. “We’ve always believed in expanding with intention—finding the right communities, the right partners, and the right opportunities to create something special for our guests and team members.”

The announcement did not include specific addresses of the individual restaurants.

OBC Kitchen known for bourbon, Bacon in a Glass

OBC Kitchen, which stands for Old Bourbon County, is known for its extensive bourbon and craft beer collection as well as hand-crafted cocktails. It opened next to the Drake’s and Malone’s in the Lansdowne Shopping Center in 2014. The gastropub has an eclectic menu that includes the signature Bacon in a Glass, Warm Buttermilk Donuts and Shrimp & Grits as well as steaks and more.

According to a post on social media, the popular restaurant has outgrown its current space and is “looking forward to giving OBC a home that matches the experience and atmosphere we strive to create for our guests.”

It will join the RD1 Distillery tasting room and a new DaRae & Friends restaurant in The Commons, which also will be home to a music venue.
