A horse's bond with their people

The bond that horses and humans share is actually really special.

According to Rusty Halo Ranch, horses are known to be "highly intuitive" and "have an extraordinary ability to sense human emotions and respond to them."

One way horses bond with humans is through non-verbal communication, specifically body language and other cues. Horses "can pick up on subtle changes in body language, tone of voice, and energy," which "This non-verbal communication "allows for a deep understanding and connection between the horse and the participant."

They also build bonds with humans through the mirroring effect and energetic connection. Rusty Halo Ranch explains that horses "have a powerful presence and emit a calming and grounding energy," which can also help calm people down. Additionally, "Horses often mirror the emotions and energy of the people around them," which "provides immediate feedback and can help individuals become more aware of their own emotions and how they impact others."

Horses are also known to be "non-judgmental beings that accept individuals for who they are, without any preconceived notions or expectations." The ranch confirms that this "acceptance creates a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their emotions and vulnerabilities."
