Rescue Cat Who Looks Like a Tiny Pirate Has the Cutest Dinner Yell
There are a million reasons why taking in a rescue cat is a good thing, but none better than the love they give back as if to say, "Thank you for saving me." Some have pretty traumatic histories and need extra TLC. A safe, cozy place to drift off to sleep, plenty of cuddles, and tasty meals they'll shout from the rooftops for are all things these kitties deserve-and more.
Of all the rescue cats in the world, Scamby might be one of my all-time favorites. This kitty and her pirate-looking eye will steal your heart one way or another. Once you see how excited she gets for dinner, her underbite, and the gratitude bursting from her heart, you'll see why.
@companionanimalcoalition She's got pipes! I'll have some new medical news for our Scramby soon! #fyp#catrescue#animalrescue#fosteringsaveslives#cac

The sweet girl really does have some pipes on her-her rebel yell, if you will-but it's Scramby's fighting spirit that has everyone rooting for her. As Mom explained in previous videos, her injuries came from a dog attack when she was a kitten. It's tragic and heartbreaking, but the little lovebug and cuddle monster Scramby refuses to let it define her.
Described as "scraggly" and "skrunkly," Scamby lives up to the hype. The 4-year-old rescue cat landed with @companionanimalcoalition at the end of April. Since then, she's gotten the medical care she needs to heal and has been the star of the house while learning what real love feels like.
I'm not the only one fully, absurdly, ridiculously obsessed with Scramby's unique look.

"I feel like I'd take a bullet for her," one person commented. "I think I love her more than my husband," another joked. Others confessed, "I'm like morbidly in love with her," and "She's so weird, I love her."
I feel the same way about all of this! The precious rescue kitty may have had a rough beginning, but we're all hoping she gets a better ending.
Scramby's Health Update Has Everyone in Tears
As great as it is that Scramby was rescued, Mom shared an update about the good girl, explaining that a vet visit revealed she's in renal and kidney failure, transitioning to a different diet with new medications and specialty care.
Orphan Angels Cat Clinic in Erie, Pennsylvania, is giving Scramby top-notch care so she can enjoy this second chance with minimal side effects.
You wouldn't know by looking at Scramby how much pain she must be in, because all she wants to do is snuggle with her new favorite human, and we can't stop watching.
@companionanimalcoalition Our long Scramby medical update. A huge thank you to her medical team at Orphan Angels Cat Clinic. #fyp#catrescue#animalrescue#fosteringsaveslives#cac

Whether Scramby is yelling for dinner or stealing our collective heart with her one-eyed pirate look, she deserves everything good for the rest of her days.
