Put Your Travel Points to Good Use. These Global Fitness Festivals Will Reset Your Body and Mind in 2026 and Beyond

The global wellness industry is big business. Currently valued at a whopping $6.8 trillion, it's forecast to hit $10 trillion and beyond in the next decade. This growth is driven by cutting-edge products, health breakthroughs, and our general desire to live our best and healthiest lives.

Nowhere is the fitness boon more evident than in the rise of single and multi-day wellness festivals popping up here in the US, and across the globe in locations as remote as the Indian Ocean and the Welsh countryside.

From traditional fitness expos helping you stay at the forefront of the industry to vacations into the very depths of your mind, in 2026 and beyond, there's a wellness escape for everyone. So, pack a bag, pack your running shoes and yoga mat, and give yourself over to forging a better, stronger (and crucially, more rested) you.

The 6 Best Global Fitness Festivals of 2026

Love Trails

Truly the world's first festival designed by runners, for runners. Love Trials is the brainchild of trendy British club the London Midnight Runners. Founders Theo and George dared to dream about an event combining their two loves: trails and tunes. The rest is history.

Over four days on Wales' scenic Gower Peninsula, you're invited to experience a curated program of guided runs (two to 50 miles), hikes, wild swims, run-focused workshops, and live music. The first event saw 40 pals gather. A few years later, the festival remains independent, even if the attendees have grown to some 5,000 dedicated runners travelling from England, Europe, and the US.

Whether you're after casual group jogs or endurance races for all paces, this four-day escape is for you. And, when the blisters get to be too much, you can kick back to your choice of DJs and live bands to help keep the energy high.

Strong New York

In the Empire State, being New York Strong is everything. With arguably more gyms, yoga classes, and fitness studios per square block than anywhere else in the world, New Yorkers know how to celebrate fitness.

It all comes together for one action-packed day in autumn with Strong New York, a full-programme bonanza boasting celebrity-led workouts, expert panels with wellness industry insiders, a dedicated recovery zone offering massages and cold plunges, and almost 100 brand activations all promising to give you a taste of the latest wellness products and tech.

Founded by trainer and podcaster Kenny Santucci, this is the ultimate gathering for thousands of athletes, coaches, and wellness enthusiasts all looking to vibe among like-minded people and to take their fitness knowledge to the next level.

This year, the festival promises over 25 different workout sessions, including strength training, dance, pilates, and Jiu-Jitsu. Trained a little too hard? The dedicated recovery village promises heat therapy and IV drips on tap.

Envision Festival

Need an excuse to fly out to Costa Rica? We didn't think so, but we'll give you one anyway. From animal sanctuaries to pristine beaches and jungles, this Central American gem has it all. The eco-conscious Envision Festival is just the jewel in the crown.

Nestled where the azure Pacific Ocean meets the ancient rainforest, the festival draws hundreds of yogis and wellness enthusiasts annually. The aim of the four-day celebration is all about "awakening our human potential"-something we could all probably do to ponder.

With live art and music classes alongside nature workshops, breath work, tantra, and martial arts sessions, plus classes to help you take your yoga and meditation to the next level, this is optimised wellness in the healthiest sense.

The Burning Man comparisons are real; free-thinking ideas flow like your downward dog here, so come with an open mind and an appetite for some holistic healing.

Turf Games

If you've ever wanted to find out exactly how fit you actually are (and do it with all of your friends), Turf Games is your event. The event pits teams of five or six against each other across a series of hybrid workouts testing strength, power, speed, and conditioning, all wrapped in the kind of atmosphere you'd expect from a proper festival, rather than a sterile competition floor.

The London Summer event that takes place from June 27 to 28 is the biggest of its kind in the UK, drawing 5,600 athletes over one weekend. The format is deliberately accessible and doesn't have technical Olympic lifting or gymnastic movements, just raw functional fitness that rewards the well-rounded athlete. There are Elite, Intermediate, and Everyday divisions, so whether you're a seasoned competitor or someone finally cashing in that training block, there's a bracket for you.

Between heats (which are generously spaced throughout the day), there's a full festival village, food, and the kind of post-workout energy that makes you immediately want to sign up for the next one.

Can't make it to London? Turf Games also heads to the Gold Coast in Australia in September, making it one of the more convincing excuses to burn some travel points.

When: June 27 to 28, 2026, and September 11

Telluride Yoga Festival

Forget the film festival, this is really worth trekking up into the mountains for. Taking place in the San Juan mountains from June 25 to 28, the Telluride Yoga Festival is a four-day fest featuring peak wellness in the form of sound baths, fresh alpine hikes, and world-renowned yoga leaders.

This year marks the 18th edition of the festival, and it's been steadily growing since 2009, with returning pilgrims certain that nothing beats breath-work in the rare air of 8,725 feet and above. Not only is that going to help clear your mind, but you'll also improve your VO2 Max just walking around.

As always, the focus this year is on longevity, community, and resilience. In 2026, each of these feels more vital than ever. This isn't about sitting in stuffy classrooms, though. The whole point is to get outside with alpine lake visits, guided hikes, and woodland-based activities, bringing the learning from the theoretical into real life.

Live acoustic sessions and, crucially, plentiful happy hour offers help you get that balance right after a hard day of being good.

SOUL Festival

The Maldives isn't just for honeymoons. Taking place every October at upscale resort Soneva Fushi in the Baa Atoll, the multi-day SOUL Festival focuses on wellness in a sustainability-first environment.

What this means is a line-up of wellness thought-leaders and wellness pioneers celebrating traditional holistic methods alongside cutting-edge innovations. You'll attend daily workshops, swim in the wild ocean, dine on the best organic food the country has to offer, and feed your brain at the same time.

Sunrise yoga and mindful movement are just the appetisers. Chefs, sportspeople, and even astronomers and celebrated authors are all on hand to share their knowledge. As if you needed a reason to visit the Indian Ocean, right?

This year's dates are still to be finalised, so make sure to visit the website for early-bird details.

Bendigo Yoga Festival

Located a few hours' drive north of trendy Melbourne, Bendigo is quickly becoming Australia's wellness Mecca for those in the know. It isn't all mullets and cyber sigilism tattoos, though.

The Bendigo Yoga Festival invites locals, backpackers, and seasoned travellers alike to experience a weekend of community, mindfulness, and movement. Leave your surfboard in the van for this one. Instead, you'll focus on intentional movement, learning about ancient yoga iterations like Hatha, Yin, Kundalini, and Yoga Nidra. This isn't just about improving your child's pose, but challenging your body, core, and mind with dynamic Vinyasa flows and experimenting with new approaches.

That isn't all. Across the newly expanded festival space, you'll take in meditative sound baths, talks, live music, and workshops. With a focus on personal growth, these inspiring sessions can help you to slow down and find beauty and inner peace in the right now. It doesn't at all hurt that it takes place in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, with fantastic surf beaches a short drive away.
