Ever since the streamer announced the soapy hockey romance was greenlit for another season, readers have been eagerly awaiting every update—and now, there’s exciting news to celebrate!

During Prime Video’s inaugural ObsessedFest in Los Angeles yesterday, stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli revealed anticipated new details on Season 2—and Woman’s World was there to catch it all firsthand! From the release timeline to the plot to Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright opening up about the cast’s chemistry and how filming is going, here’s everything we learned about the next chapter of Off Campus.

What is ‘Off Campus’ Season 2 about?

Warning: Spoilers ahead! Season 1 of Off Campus centered on fan-favorite college couple Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) and Hannah Wells (Ella Bright). Hannah, a smart music major, and Garrett, the university’s charming yet cocky hockey captain become unlikely friends after they strike up a deal. Hannah will tutor Garrett to improve his grades, and in exchange, he will pretend to date her to make her crush, Justin (Josh Heuston) jealous. Soon, their ‘fauxmance’ starts to feel very real.

Season 2 will pick up right where Season 1 left off—which was a very dramatic scene inside Briar U’s favorite watering hole, Malone’s, after Allie revealed she slept with someone else. The second installment of the show will follow the secret situationship—or should we say the aftermath of a secret situationship—between Hannah’s best friend Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) and Garret’s teammate and resident campus lothario Dean DiLaurentis (Stephen Kalyn).

Yesterday, at Obsessed Fest, Belmont Cameli offered fans a much-needed update on Season 2. What we learned: They’re well into filming, have already wrapped two episodes and are now onto the third. When the panel’s moderator asked what it felt like to step back on set, Cameli immediately smiled.

“It kind of feels just like going home for the summer,” Cameli replied. “It doesn’t really feel like we missed a beat. We had the press tour and then we went straight to Vancouver to get to work and it felt like we were just there.”

He also shared that the cast is impressed yet again with the writing for Season 2—thanks to the brilliant writer Louisa Levy, who translated the great book into an incredible TV series. “We’ve read a handful of episodes for this second season and the writing is still incredible. When we do a table read it’s really fun and we all clap and go ‘wow, we feel really lucky to be on this show.’ That’s what we felt last summer—and that’s how we feel right now.”

Cameli also reiterated that the good vibes and friendships between himself, Bright and everyone on set were there from the start. “When we first got to Vancouver, we just clicked,” Cameli said. “There’s really no secret sauce. It’s just a cast of people who got along really well. It was fun from the very beginning. We loved making this show together and we’re working on the second season right now and it’s just as fun.”

Ella Bright on on the cast’s ‘immediate’ connection

Not only is the chemistry between Off Campus cast members palpable on screen, the real-life connections shown through Season 1’s extensive press tour have left fans even more smitten. During yesterday’s panel at Obsessed Fest, Bright opened up about just how natural their bonding really was.

“It was almost immediate,” Bright said. “There was a very strong precedent set from the very beginning that this was a ‘found family’ show and it’s not just about one or two characters or the romantic interest, it’s about the friendships and the hockey team, too. We all just followed that and it was very easy.”

Season 2’s main couple: Allie and Dean!

Much like Kennedy’s book series, each season of the TV show will focus on a couple from one book installment. Technically, the show creators are going a bit out of order for next season. Season 2 will focus on Allie and Dean’s relationship—and fans are thrilled with the switch-up. Viral edits, fanfictions and extensive fan theories have swarmed social media and forums ever since Allie and Dean’s dancefloor meet-cute dance floor in Season 1. (In case you missed it, Kennedy’s series is compiled of five books, but Allie and Dean’s story doesn’t surface until The Score, which is book three.)

“We are so excited to continue Allie and Dean’s story as our primary romance of season two after kickstarting their romance in season one,” writer and showrunner Louisa Levy said in a statement. “But if you fell in love with Hannah and Garrett, don’t worry—they will still be an integral part of our robust ensemble. We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of everyone’s story. There’s a lot for fans to look forward to!”

When does ‘Off Campus’ Season 2 premiere?

While Prime Video hasn’t announced an official premiere date yet, the fact that filming is well underway is promising news for fans. Based on the production timeline, Season 2 could potentially arrive in very late 2026 or early 2027. We’ll keep you updated as soon as Prime Video makes an official announcement!
