Supplies Needed
The supplies needed for this simple but cute DIY include:
- Bricks
- Acrylic paint
- Acrylic markers
- Clear gloss top coat
First, Emily painted the top, bottom, and the connecting side in white. This would represent the pages of the book. Next, she painted the rest of the brick that would be the spine, back cover and front cover. From there, Emily wrote the book titles on the "spine" using the acrylic markers she had on hand. Finally, she drew black lines on the part of the brick she painted white to make it look more like actual pages. And that is literally it!
