Labrador's Bedtime Zoomies Are Her Own Version of Parkour
At the end of a long day, some dogs like to snuggle up with their favorite humans and get cozy until it's time to go to bed. And then, there are dogs like the Labrador in the TikTok video below, who uses every last minute of those final waking hours to have fun.
This pup might be the fastest dog alive-or at least, one of the fastest dogs-as she runs around her whole house, getting all those zoomies out before bedtime.

Lacrimosa - Jairos & Isabel
According to her mom, this is her evening routine before bed-running all over the house at top speed without letting furniture get in her way. She doesn't have to be outside to have the zoomies; indoors will work just fine.
And she's not just running. She's also jumping really high and clearing obstacles that might be in her path, including an entire couch.
Has she considered training as an Olympic athlete? This is impressive stuff.

Why Dogs Get the Zoomies at Bedtime
Zoomies before bed are a surprisingly common phenomenon among dogs-whether or not their best parkour moves are involved. When we humans would probably rather wind down for the evening before bed, this happens to be when a lot of pups get an unexpected second wind.
According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), zoomies before bed (more technically known as frenetic random activity periods, or FRAPs) are your dog's way of expending the energy they have left over at the end of the day. It's fun, and they love to run around. Sometimes, it really is that simple!
This is more common in puppies and young dogs, and in dogs who spend most of their day crated. Once they're finally free, they're ready to go wild.
You can tame the zoomies a bit by building more exercise into your dog's day, but it's hard to make them stop completely. It's nothing to worry about, though... unless, of course, you happen to be standing in their path when they're zooming around.
