Podcast: Paul Prather on the spiritual effect of the coronavirus pandemic
Last week, I recorded a podcast with news columnist Linda Blackford about Gov. Andy Beshear’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. And earlier this week, Linda suggested that I have Paul Prather on as a guest. And I thought that’s a great idea.
Paul was gracious enough to grant the request. He is easily on the of the Herald-Leader’s most popular columnists, writing mainly on religion in these modern times. Paul is also pastor of the Bethesda Church near Mt. Sterling. So we talked about how his parishioners are dealing with the pandemic, how they are reacting to not holding worship services together and the spiritual side of what’s going on right now. What is Paul’s advice? How should we feel about God in all this? We discussed that and more.
