Kentucky Medical Association: Amber Laflin has been named director of member services for the state association. She will be in charge of the association’s membership efforts and manage the association’s database system, oversee the House of Delegates at the association’s annual convention, and work with the association’s Physician Workforce Commission and the Young Physicians and Physicians In-Training Commission.
Women Leading Kentucky: Stites & Harbison attorney Chrisandrea Turner has been named chair of the organization. She has been a member of Women Leading Kentucky since 2012 and previously served as vice chair.

AssuredPartners NL: Sam Liggett has been named a commercial lines property and casualty producer in the firm’s Lexington office. In his new role, Liggett will work with AssuredPartners NL’s commercial property and casualty clients in the Central Kentucky market to identify key business exposures and develop tailored insurance solutions.
Lexington-based Associations International: Chanel Friday has joined AI as a project coordinator. Friday will support client executive directors, chapters and membership in activities related to project communication, implementation and maintenance. Eric Callaghan has joined the International Spa Association as digital marketing coordinator. Callaghan will oversee ISPA’s digital communications plan and digital marketing strategy. Lauren Batey has joined the International Inbound Travel Association as a project coordinator. She will support IITA’s executive director, board of directors, chapters and membership as the IITA continues to expand.
