Kentucky Community and Technical College System: Michael O. Murray has been named general counsel. Murray comes to KCTCS from ITC Capital Partners/American K-9 Detection Services, where he serves as vice president, legal affairs and corporate secretary. He was a partner in Edmond Murray & Associates, human resources and legal consultants and vice president and general counsel for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Organizations

Bluegrass Conservancy: Elizabeth Buxton has been named executive director of the nationally accredited land trust. Buxton, a native of Tidewater, Va., brings more than 20 years experience working for land conservation and historic preservation non-profits and government agencies.

Other

Bluegrass Area Development District: Mable Duke has been named director of workforce services. Duke has spent the last eight years as an independent workforce development consultant.

Denham-Blythe Co.: Mike Cox has been named chief executive officer with the Lexington-based construction and design firm.
