World of Beer opening July 3 at The Summit with local brews

Another day, another opening at The Summit: World of Beer is opening Monday at 122 Marion, Suite 150, with lots of local beer on tap.

The franchise tavern will have more than 500 bottles and 50 rotating taps daily. Local brews will also be served on tap during the opening, which is at 11 a.m.

Local offerings from Kentucky Ale, Country Boy, Ethereal, Blue Stallion, Rooster Brew, Dry Ground in Padacah, White Squirrel in Bowling Green, Great Flood in Louisville, Goodwind in Louisville and West Sixth Brewery will be on hand, along with lunch specials.

World of Beer Lexington will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Sundays.

World of Beer joins Whole Foods, Honeywood, Shake Shack, Steel City Pops, J. Alexander’s, Texas de Brazil, Edley’s Bar-B-Que and more restaurants at the new upscale shopping center. Later this year, a food hall will open with local vendors.
