Food service supplier Creation Gardens buying Bluefin Seafood
Creation Gardens, a Louisville-based restaurant supplier that serves many Lexington eateries, announced it has bought Louisville’s Bluefin Seafood, which also supplies many local places.
Creation Gardens will now supply seafood as well as produce, meat and dairy and gourmet products to more than 2,800 restaurants, hotels, country clubs and other food service providers in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio.
“Our chefs will now be able to access almost everything they need to operate their culinary program,” said Ron Turnier, President of Creation Gardens, in a statement.
As longtime Louisville resident, Ken Berry and the Bluefin family join Ron and Mollie Turnier in their continued efforts as a food service distributor in the region.
The combination of these two family-run companies now provides customers access to produce, seafood, gourmet foods, meats, eco paper products, dairy, hand cut produce and general pantry goods, the company said.
