Former Kentucky Public Service Commission executive opens energy consulting firm

Stephanie Bell, a former Kentucky Public Service executive with more than 20 years of energy and regulatory experience as a lobbyist, has opened a boutique consulting firm that works with clients on state and local issues pertaining to natural gas, electric, water, telecommunications and renewable energy sources.

“In my years of experience in lobbying both as a contract lobbyist and a government lobbyist, there’s a gap in consulting firms that specialize specifically in energy related issues. Moreover, there’s a real need for professionals who understand how regulatory government bodies operate and who have experience in navigating through complicated issues,” Bell stated in a press release.
