Roach named executive director of Kentucky Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons

The Kentucky Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons: Elizabeth “Liz” Roach has been named executive director of the non-profit organization for ophthalmologist members. Based in Lexington, Roach previously served as development manager of The Council of State Governments and worked for eight years in former KY Governor Steve Beshear’s office in roles such as deputy speechwriter, press secretary for the First Lady, and director of scheduling.

Organization of State Broadcaster Executives: Shae Hopkins, KET executive director and CEO, has been named co-chair of the OSBE Board of Directors. Hopkins currently serves on the Public Broadcasting Service Board of Directors and is a past chair of the National Educational Telecommunications Association Board of Directors.
