Sedona Taphouse is coming to Lexington: The chain, which specializes in craft beer and wine, will open its first Kentucky restaurant in Palomar.

According to its Facebook page, Sedona Taphouse will open in the spring at 3600 Palomar Centre Drive.

A building permit issued for the site says it will be a $2 million, 6,471-square-foot restaurant, built by Jimmy III Ball Dailey Homes LLC.

Founded in 2011 by Dennis Barbaro, the restaurant is known for having hundreds of craft beers on tap. According to its menu, Sedona Taphouse serves steak and seafood, pasta salads and grilled chicken, steak and fish. For lunch, an express menu offers artisan sandwiches and salads. Sedona is open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, and offers catering.

Sedona Taphouse will join a burgeoning dining area off Harrodsburg Road and Man O’War that already includes Malone’s, Asian Wind, Wild Eggs and Panera Bread and more.
