Want to wake up in your hotel to the aroma of beer or even pour a brew yourself from a tap in your room? A new hotel in Columbus, Ohio, provides all of these amenities and more for beer lovers.
Opening Monday, the DogHouse from Brewdog allows guests to watch the beer-making process right from their room with views of the sour beer brewery.
Amenities include a lobby bartender who will serve you a complimentary beer while you check in to your room, beer taps in each room with the brew of your choice, and even hop-infused soaps.
Each room also features a mini fridge with a curated selection of beers. Unfortunately, the room’s rainfall showers don’t flow with their IPAs.

“This will be the world’s first and only fully-immersive craft beer experience from check in to check out,” BrewDog co-founder James Watt said. “The DogHouse is our gift to the passionate and dedicated army of beer fans that have supported us every step of the way. We are nothing without our community and this hotel celebrates that.”
The hotel is possible thanks to a crowd-funding effort of more than $300,000 through donors.
The DogHouse has 32 rooms with overnight rates starting at $162 per night. Four rooms are even pet friendly with an on-site dog park adjacent to the hotel. For booking information visit the Doghouse website.
“The DogHouse is truly a hotel like no other,” BrewDog USA Ceo Tanisha Robinson said. “With the help of our passionate community, we have created a must-visit destination for craft beer fans around the world.”
