Want a Baby Yoda? Popular ‘Star Wars’ figure coming to Build-A-Bear

Fans of the Star Wars television series “The Mandalorian” will soon be able to get their hands on a fan-favorite character.

But they will have to build it themselves.

Build-A-Bear announced Tuesday that it will soon have “Baby Yoda” in stock. It’s not clear when the retailer will have the frequently memed character known as “The Child” in the popular Disney Plus series.

Build-A-Bear has several Star Wars characters available to build, according to its web site. Other Star Wars characters include Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

Build-A-Bear CEO Sharon Price John made the announcement Tuesday in Orlando, Fla. Employees at the Build-A-Bear at Fayette Mall said the store has not been given any additional information on when the new figure will arrive.

No Baby Yoda merchandise was sold prior to Christmas, disappointing many fans. Some toys are now available for pre-order but aren’t expected to hit the market until later this spring.
