Lexington’s second Peddler’s Mall location set to open this week
Lexington is getting a second Peddler’s Mall location.
The new West Lexington Peddler’s Mall is scheduled to open Jan. 1 in the Garden Springs shopping center at 820 Lane Allen Road, in the spot previously occupied by Big Lots.
As of Wednesday, all but 43 of the store’s 347 booths had been rented, said McKenzie Branham, who manages another Peddler’s Mall location and is helping with the opening.
A manager told LEX 18 that the new location is going for a “nicer vibe” and has a different layout intended to help keep customers from getting lost.
The secondhand store’s larger Lexington location at 1205 East New Circle Road blends elements of an indoor yard sale, flea market and antique mall and hosts a maze of vendor booths offering a little bit of everything.
The company’s website says it has 18 locations in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia. Other Central Kentucky locations include stores in Georgetown, Richmond, Frankfort and Winchester.
